Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, USA is working to ensure that our digital and physical environments meet the spirit and letter of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA). Accessibility is an ongoing practice – we welcome feedback that helps us do better.
On the Web
- Keyboard navigation for every interactive element.
- Sufficient color contrast for body text and key UI.
- Alt text on photographs and illustrations.
- Captions and transcripts for video content (rolling out).
- Resizable text and responsive layouts down to 320 px wide.
- ARIA labels on icon-only controls.
On Campus
- Step-free entry to the main halls, dining, and meditation spaces.
- Accessible restrooms in all primary public buildings.
- Reserved accessible parking with curb-cut access to walkways.
- Service animals welcome throughout the campus.
- Assistive listening available for satsang and discourse – please request in advance.
